Description of 1976 Pontiac Trans Am |
Features: One of 7,099 produced, his is a low mileage, umbers matching 2 owner car in good condition. Built in August of '76, his car has one of the last Pontiac 455's ever produced. It's mated to a manual 4 Speed with factory Hurst Shifter. Shaker hood with functional hood scoop. Originally a radio-delete car with Rally II wheels, have replaced the aftermarket radio which was in the car when I bought it with the factory correct Red Dot Stereo and 8-Track Player. I replaced the Rally II wheels with Honeycombs & BFG Radial T/A P255/60R15 tires. This car has plenty of power and it handles very nicely. True dual exhaust with resonators gives this car a great sound. I have all the original wheels, ntake/exhaust manifolds, alve covers & suspension parts, hey are included in the sale! Condition: 46, 57 mi. This car is devoid of any mechanical issues, verything works including all gauges, ights, adio and 8-Track Player. The interior is in very good condition, he only issue is a small tear near the seat belt guide of the drivers seat. The body & frame are solid with very good floors & trunk pan, here is surface rust on the right-hand side of the trunk pan and rear deck. The right fender is rusted at the bottom near the door & on top near the hood. There are a few spots of rust on the hood. Minor dings & scratches. Rear spoiler has a small crack on the right side. See photos for details. History: I am the 2nd owner of this car, he original owner ordered this car with only one option, he 455 H.O. engine. Thicker sway bars and new turnbuckles were installed when the car was new. The original owner re-jetted the Quadrajet, urved the distributor, nd replaced the intake & exhaust manifolds with an Edelbrock intake and long tube headers. Originally a radio-delete car with Rally II wheels. Once again, have all the original wheels, ntake/exhaust manifolds, alve covers & suspension parts, hey are included in the sale!
