We have a Beautifully restored 4 speed 1969 Pontiac Trans-Am Ram Air III car. With only 697 of these legendary birds in existence, his car is sure to impress at any car show! In 1967 Pontiac introduced the Firebird line and from very early on it has easily distinguished itself as a separate breed of pony car. Little has changed for the first generation Pontiac in its three year sheet metal production; however in 1969 two changes to the F- body car would definitely shake things up. First, wo new introductions to the fully functional Ram air design was about to emerge with the Ram Air III and IV, roducing 335 and 345 horsepower respectively. Second, 969 marked the first running of the Trans Am edition name tag and would shake things up for both GM corporate managers and the coming law suit from the Trans Am race series circuit. The Trans Am Firebird was deserving of this title as the handling and performance of its day was impressive.
