Description of 1968 Pontiac GTO

ORIGINAL 1968 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE,
WELL PRESERVED FRAME-OFF 10 YEAR OLD RESTORATION,
ALL NUMBERS MATCHING WITH ALL ITS ORIGINAL 12 OPTIONS:
RETRACTABLE HEADLAMP COVERS,
8-TRACK PLAYER,
POWER STEERING, LOCK, amp; MORE.
- Original color Verdoro Green paint and Parchment interior.
- Black carpet and Pontiac floor mats.
- All original and matching numbers 400 ci 350 hp engine (YS), utomatic transmission, ear end, nd whole car.(See photos of matching VIN numbers on these components).
- Genuine Rally II wheels and Firestone Red Line tires, nd a spare mounted in the trunk.
- Still configured as its Pontiac Historical Factory Build Sheet and Window Sticker shows.(8-Track Player currently uninstalled).
- Super clean car, utside, nside, nd underneath.
- This car is essentially in showroom condition and equipped as it left the Pontiac factory in Baltimore, D.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Pontiac Historical Division provided factory build sheet, indow sticker, amp; copies of other dealer documents.
- Owners Manual and Convertible Top Owners Manual.
- Convertible-top cover. Rubber trunk mat. Soft car cover.
- Matching spare tire with its vinyl cover, eld down by wing-nut in the trunk with jack.
- 8-Track Player and new door panels (confirmed matching / made by PUI) provided with auction win but not installed.
- Installed Hood Tachometer not original to car.
HISTORY:
- The prior owner's Ebay listing from when I purchased this car states his knowledge of the car's history.(He bought it totally restored,

had owned and garage kept it for 5 years,had the transmission over-hauledand new master cylinder installed).
- I owned and garage kept it for 4.5 years, ut about 500 miles on it, ut in a new points, nd a Delco battery recently. (Odometer now reads at just over 15,000).
- Always insured and registered.
- Only 5091 GTO convertibles were produced in 1968.
CONDITION:
- Paint is close to near flawless.
- The convertible top in very nice condition inside and out.
- The interior is in very good condition, xcept door panels have stains at the top and...(New confirmed matching color, exture, nd pattern interior door panels will be ordered once auction ends and shipped directly to you with a 4-6 weekdelivery, r instead get a $250 refund).
- On the bottom side of the driver's side of the bench seat, here is a small vinyl rip repair.
- The original 8 Track is the only thing not present as indicated on this car's Pontiac Historical Factory Build Sheet. (However I purchased a used, ut correct 68 GTO 8 Track Player (rare) and am including it with sale). - Original numbers matching drive train sounds perfect and shifts smoothly.
- Starts quick, an get up and go quick, rives strait, urns and brakes very nicely, ike it should.
- The original electric clock and radio light up but don't work.
- The original hood tachometer lights up, ut doesn't work (new replacements are available).
- Speedometer works as does all other electrical and mechanical parts.
- Engine oil drips a little at rear of engine, top off once in a while.
