You're looking at a real-deal 1964 Pontiac GTO. Yes, his coupe body was one of the first few that were snuck out the door to show Detroit that America loved the idea of a big V8 motor in a lighter, ore compact package. You know this a genuine first-year GTO, o everyone at your car shows can thank this coupe for starting the muscle car craze. But now it gets better when you take a look at the trim tag and realize that this coupe is painted Starlight Black, ecause that's the color that was applied at the factory. So you can just imagine fifty years ago when the GTOs were still building their reputation on the streets, nd this black-as-midnight beast pulls up to a stoplight ready to teach a lesson. Today this glossy paint serves as a template to show you just how straight this body really is. But as sinister as this car might appear, here are still plenty of bright spots. The chrome looks amazing on the Wide-Track front end, nd the rear bumper and trim strip really give the taillights a nice presence (and that's what most people saw of these anyway!) There's even a nice hit of color on the Coker redline tires.Inside, his loaded GTO continues its dark black theme, ut it's also brightened up by a cool contrasting white. The white vinyl seats and door cards look pristine, nd they are durable enough to stay that way for many years to come. In between is an attractive factory center console made even more desirable by the Hurst shifter. There's a woodrained three-spoke sports steering wheel for the power steering. The machine turned dash console is a hallmark of the GTO, nd it's the perfect home for the original components such as the heat/defrost controls, nd the optional AM/FM radio. This bright panel was also a great place for all the gauges, ut because of such as big motor, here were extra readouts added under the dash, ike oil, ater, nd power, he tachometer was added on the steering column, nd the vacuum gauge on the center console. Under the hood is a 400 cubic-inch Pontiac V8. That extra displacement means you should be putting down a more power than the other '64s out there. Of course you can't have a street-eating GTO without a Tri-Power carburator setup too. The combination looks amazing on top of the correct turquoise engine block. Best of all, his is hooked up to a four-speed manual transmission. Yup, ou might need to find your Beach Boys music for the ride home because this Little GTO will have you humming. Then again, nce you hear the growl of the dual exhaust, ou might just want to roll down all the windows and make a different soundtrack.A fully loaded and excellent color first-year GTO doesn't come along very often. This has been cared for so well that we even have the owner's manual. So hurry up get this one before another Beach Boy gets their hands on it. Call today!!
