Description of 1969 Pontiac GTO |
1969 Pontiac GTO Judge - PHS Documented along with the original dealer NCR paper delivery documentation and Protecto-Plate. Originally sold by Taber Pontiac in Atlantic. Always a Georgia/Florida/Alabama rust free car. The engine is a correct 400 but not original to the car. The Ram Air set up is all original and fully functional. The hood tach is original but does not work. I have owned the car since 1998 and did not want to remove it and the original wiring for repair. Included are the correct shop manuals and any other original paperwork* that came with the car. This is a three owner car so the records are accurate. The radio is connected to a correct 8-track player that I installed. The only other change that I made was to add a correct clock (the original clock delete is included if you wish to remove the clock). The interior is original (carpet, eat covers, eadliner and dash). The dash has one small slit, he headliner has one small defect and the drivers seat has some honest billfold wear. Equipped with functional hide-a-way headlights.. The trunk lid correctly stays open when positioned in the 50% up position because it has the heavier springs. It has only been driven 6000 miles in the past 21 years. New radial tires on rally rims. Yes, put the beauty rings on it since I like the way they look. Runs strong and drives smooth. *Paperwork 1) PHS Documentation verifying that it is a Judge and the options that were built into the car. 2) Georgia title issued to Clyde Barrow on 10/1/69. 3) NCR dealer new car get ready form stating that the car is a Judge and dated 4/25/69. Also dated 2/24/69 when it arrived at the dealer and was inspected by the State of Georgia. 4) Original dealer warranty form and plastic Protect-O-Plate. 5) Thank you note from GM along with the envelope it was mailed in. 6) Original 1969 Owners manual 7) Invoice detailing the engine work that was performed in 1993. 8) Sale paperwork from owner number one to owner number 2. I am owner number three. 9) This is truly an early build Judge. Known defects. 1) Small repaired chip in the original windshield 2) Small paint chip on Hood Tach Shield 3) Small area of orange peel in the paint on the hood and left quarter panel 4) Small slit in original dash 5) Small slit in original headliner 6) Small paint chip on ram air inlet 7) Billfold wear on drivers seat 8) Small crease in left front quarter panel. 9) Small area of paint fading where the drivers door meets the rocker panel |
