1987 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a rare GTA model and the car is rust free. This is a true Y84 car, t is NOT a clone but a true factory built GTA. No rust underneath and the car has had no rust repair. It has trans am front fenders becasue the previous owner liked the look of the vents, hich I think look good. Car was recently painted in the factory black and a 1991 GTA spoiler replaced the troublesome rubber rear spoilers these cars came with. Paint is decent, reat driver quality, ood for a local drive in show but its not perfect. Could use some more detailing but displays nice. Engine is the factory 350 TPI with an automatic 4 speed automatic overdrive trans. Car runs and shifts good, as plenty of power. Exhaust is aftermarket I believe magnaflow? Factory 4 wheel disc brakes and posi rear work good. Original and correct GTA wheels are nice. Headlight doors work as they should. Interior is very nice. Factoryfront bucket seats with adjustable boolsters have been recovered as has the headliner. Tilt wheel, actory gauges, ear hatch release and pull down, ower windows and locks and power mirrors all work. (some may need minor adjustments) A/c and cruise control are present but do not work. Both door panels have a crack on the upper plastic which is common but when the doors are closed you dont see it. Dash pad is very nice. It has a small damage spot about the size of a dime which should be an easy repair. Aftermarket CD player and speakers play and sound good. Rest of the interior is in nice shape. I have the GTA emblems. The front bumper one is rough and should be replaced. The fender ones cannot be installed becasue the t/a fender vents sit where they would mount. The sail panel emblems are ok I just didnt install them. Was going to get a complete new set. Tires are decent. I would have no problem driving this car anywhere. Runs rides and drives very nice. That being said, t is still being sold as is and has no warrantly or guarantee at all. I am looking for a 77-78 Trans Am t-top body. MUST be clean. Might be willing to work something towards this car.
