Description of 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT |
For sale here is my 1988 Fiero GT. I have owned it since 2012. It was in get shape when I got it. It has been my fun summer car. I have put very few miles on it. When I first got it, had a mechanic friend of mine put it up in the air and look it over. It came to me from Florida, o the undercarriage is rust free! We didn't find a whole lot that was wrong. The tires were less then desirable and not staggered sizes as they should have been. We also found some loose front suspension components which have been replaced- left side ball joints and outer tie rod ends. It also had a minor leak in the heater core. So, ordered the needed parts from the Fiero store and had them replaced. I also put 4 new correct size Continental tires on and had it aligned. The brakes are in good shape. Fast forward to the last 2 months... I replaced the headliner, ear 1/4 windows, ear hatch seal, ad it tuned up, ad a new Ocelot exhaust installed (Fiero Store), ad the clutch master and slave cylinders replaced. My mechanic told me the clutch is fine and did not need replacement. I also had the rubber outer window seals replaced... you know... the ones that fall apart on every Fiero!!! I don't think I'm forgetting anything. Now for the minor things that I think can be seen in the photos or video:It is still a 27 year old car... I think it may have had repaint in it's former life... see the photos for a few chips and imperfections in the paint. The radio is typical GM works-when-it-feels-like-it... It is fine when it's working. There are also a few interior imperfections that can be clearly seen in the photos.I have tried to describe this Fiero to the best of my ability. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. I will provide any additional photos upon request. The 1988 GT was the last and best year for the Fiero. The 1988 Fiero was rare andcollectiblefrom the day it was built. Only 6,848 1988 Fiero GTs were made with 3,799 of them being the 5 speedGetrag transmission . A $500.00DEPOSITIS REQUIRED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE AUCTIONS END. THE BALANCE IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE AUCTIONS END. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS. NO WARRANTY!!! |
