1955 Pontiac Chieftan 860 with 53,000 original miles. 287 cu. in. motor runs great, nd 4 speed hydramatic transmission zips through the city or cruises along the highway with ease. Paint is original color and in fair/good condition, here are a couple dings and a 3 very small rust spots (2 on the hood and one on the rear passenger door) that have been repaired with Por 15 and Primed in Red Oxide. Car starts, tops and does everything its supposed to, eliably. Gauges work. Windows work with ease, oors and trunk open and close as they should. Glass is in amazing, ear perfect condition, ne small imperfection in the driver side door. Original floor mats almost completely intact and in excellent condition. This is a really nice original car. Paint shines, nd has a nice Patina that always gets compliments. New tail lenses. Brand New Tires with less than 200 miles on them. Fun for weekend cruising, ut reliable enough to drive daily. Fluids have recently been changed and motor tuned up. Runs excellent. Tons of head nods and thumbs up everywhere you go. Excellent original example, nd hard to find a 60 years old vehicle that is relatively unmolested. Overall this is a great vehicle and value. Very hard to find a 50's car in this good of shape both exterior and running with super low miles. Car was in Arizona with original owner prior to being sold to 2nd Owner 12 years ago. My understanding is we are 3rd owner. Vehicle is currently registered in CA, ith a clean title but can be purchased and shipped anywhere at Buyer's cost. I am willing to help Buyer figure out transportation. Email me with any questions, f you provide a phone number I am also happy to discuss. Note: It was brought to my attention from another ebay member familiar with Pontiac models the upgraded interior door panels and steering wheel make this an 870 model, hich is the deluxe package.
