| Beautiful. classic fun muscle car/project car/racer When I purchased this 1969 Pontiac Firebird it was not street legal. had a California salvage title. and had not been registered with the DMV for years. It had a cool pro street drag racing hood (available for purchase - see picture). plexiglass racing windows. racing gas tank. electric fuel pump. and a full roll cage inside. Spent over $6000 with professional mechanics/restorers to bring it back to fully registered. street legal condition. DMV fees just paid through November of 2015. The car is extremely solid. has no rust. and has LOTS of new parts. It is now street legal in California. has a clean title with all backfines fully paid. and has a clean registration. Note: once a car is listed as a "salvage" in California it keeps that title for life - hence the title still says "salvage" on it. but it is fully set with the DMV now. New everything: All glass side windows. windshield. rear window. mirrors. "400 style" hood with fresh matte-black paint. battery. full size gas tank. mechanical fuel pump. exhaust pipes to rear bumper. lights. blinkers. front and rear tires. etc. etc. Chevy 350 engine with 4-bolt main runs very smoothly and has that fun muscle car growl - has flow master mufflers. Transmission is a 3-speed TH350 automatic transmission - works perfectly and sounds neat given the torque converter. The car cruises very nice and smooth. Car has a ford 9" rear end. and the brakes. steering. and mechanical systems work well. Brand new battery. The inside is simple and fun - I love the original drag race look. and so I kept it. but got brand new black carpet. Works just like a real race car - starter button. drag-race-style shifter. etc. Just has a tach - no speedometer - no windshield wipers (you can add them easily). New water-resistant car cover available for purchase. This car turns heads - gets lots of "I love that car" and "cool car" comments. Perfect car to drop a huge new engine into - use on the street. or take it back to the track - or do both. Located in suburbs of Sacramento.
