Description of 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible

1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible up for sale. 44k miles, riginal eight lug wheels, riginal interior. Original 400ci motor & TH350 trans. It runs & drives great. New EnergySuspension Polyurethanecontrolarm bushings, pper and lower ball joints, ront and rear coil springs, ront and rear shocks, heel/brake cylinders, rake pads, ront endalignment, ual stainless exhaust with h-pipe, lomaster mufflers, xhaust manifoldgaskets, oints & condenser eliminator kit, delbrock carburetor & intake (have the original intake & carter carb and they go with the car). The gas tank was thoroughly cleaned and sealed using a POR-15 kit so that it will never rust inside. THIS IS A TEXAS CAR, ow in Florida. There is no rust whatsoever. The floor pans are original and have no rust, he trunk pan is also original with no rust. The car is super solid. The paint is faded and it needs a new vinyl top. The vinyl top has been removed so that it can be replaced. (someone was nice enough to slash the original top for me). The interior is pretty descent considering it's age. It has some discoloration and there is a split in the drivers door handle. There is also a crack in the dashboard. the original steering wheel has cracks in it as well. There is a small dent in the back bumper. The "hideaway" headlight covers are not working and I'm sure it's because the vacuum lines need to be replaced due to age. ( I personally never had this car out after dark so it wasn't high on my list of things to fix. The lights and blinkers do work. The car has cruise control also, ut the vacuum mechanism that mounts on top of the left front fender well is missing so it does not work. The convertible top mechanism goes up and down great. The hydraulic top reservoir/pump needs new rubber mounting grommets, he original ones havedisintegrated. I know thosegrommetsare available and not expensive. The gas gauge is no longer working, t worked until recently. The fender skirts were not on the car when these pictures weretaken but they are with the car and currently on the car. I also have various spare parts that will go with the car. (like the entire tail light section for instance, hich is worth a pretty penny, nd a Wolf car cover). It has the following power options: ps, b, -top, -drivers seat (not working), -radio antenna, -windows (all working). It is a factory A/C car although the compressor and brackets are not on the car at this time, ut I do have them and they will go with the car. I removed the compressor and brackets to change the exhaust manifold gaskets and never put it back on. The A/C was not working when I removed the compressor but I'm not sure why. The tires have great tread but are very old. I would replace them for daily or highway driving. They are fine for low speed cruising. This gem is garage kept.
This is a very rare Pontiac. 1967 was the only year of the convertible and there were only 5,800 produced. Do not send me low-ball offers. I will not consider them. I will however consider reasonable offers. Feel free to email me with questions if you are seriously interested in buying the car. Please read the ad before asking questions.
The car is being sold as-is, here-is. The car is available to look at in person if you are local or want to make a quick trip.
SHIPPING: The buyer will be responsible for shipping and will have 20 days from the date of the sale to pick up the vehicle or have it picked up by a shipper or person representing the buyer. After 20 days I will have to charge a storage fee of $20 a day. If the buyer incurs storage fee's, he car will not be released until the storage fee's are paid in full. The vehicle will continue to be garage kept until the buyer picks it up or has it picked up. Keep in mind.....if using a shipper you will need to hire one with a closed carrier since the vinyl top is gone.
