1967 Pontiac GTO High Factory Optioned Convertible with NOS and Used Parts

This rare GTO convertible has over 16 factory and dealer installed options including AIR CONDITIONING and is PHS documented. The following list will describe the car and the parts that are included in this auction.

1. The car has been in dry storage for the past 25 years. Early on it the body was removed form the frame. The frame was sandblasted and lacquer primed. There is a small soft spot on the right front corner of the frame. The floors are fair and could be patched or replaced. The trunk floor has been cut out in preparation for the replacement. The original engine and transare gone. The original rear remains. I am including a 1967 GTO period correct long block engine in good condition. Also a period correct 400 Turbo trans. A very solid, traight, ust free, omplete AC core support,FRONT CLIPhas been installed on the car. The hood is original to the car. This GTO does not appear in any way to have ever been hit or damaged.

Included in this auction are 62 NOS parts and over 38 good used parts. Most everything needed to complete the restoration is in the parts list along with many duplacates.

2. Right and Left rear quarter panels: The sheet metal parts are from an Arizona car and are completely rust free and EXCELLENT. They are complete form doorjams to tail lights and include wheel well housings.

3. The trunk pan is from the same Arizona car. The parts were removed form the car by drilling out the spot welds one at a time. The drop downs match the quarter panels and the complete rear clip will install in 4 sections.

3. The originalpower window doors on the car are OK and complete. However there are an extra pairofright and left power window doors in EXCELLENT condition complete with trim, lass, witches, nd motors included in the auction.

4. Two nice front bumper cores not pictured or listed are included in auction.

5. Picturedis the car as it stands for auction. It includes everything in the pictures plus a number of parts that are original to the car but not pictured with the car. They include: wheel lip moldings, nd various parts.

6. Pictured and included in the auctionare:

a. 62 original GM NOS '67 GTO parts.

b. 38 original good used GM parts including the sheet metal parts listed above.

c. A parts list with description and part numbers where available for the NOS parts and the used parts.

d. The PHS documentation papers.

7. NOT PICTURED is the good, riginal1967 GTO long block engine and Turbo 400 transmissionthat is included in the auction.

a. Original AC compressor and brackets. Condenser is included and mounted in the radiator core support on the car.

b. Equipped with first year 4 piston front disc brakes.

The reserve price was determined byreducing the retail value of each part by 50%. For example, ne of the Rally Steering Wheels listed, n very good condition and complete with center, ostwould agree, ouldsell for about $400 or more. In this auction you would be buying it for $200. You can't get much fairer or do much better than HALF PRICE!

4. The wheels pictured on the car are ORIGINAL PONTIAC 15 X 7 RALLY ll,in nearly show car condition. I do notknow the date code. The tires are reproduction Goodyear Polyglass with less that 5000 miles on them.
