Up for auction is possibly the rarest and finest example of a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA in captivity. This is a 2 owner car with only 32,343 actual documented miles. The owner previous to us purchased the car from a dealers personal collection in 1995 with only 16,348 miles. We were assured this car has never seen rain, now or salt. It has been stored inside a climate controlled garage its entire life. We believe it to be all original sheet metal, aint and interior with the exception that we installed a new fiberglass spoiler. This beauty is powered by a 305 cu in 5.0ltr 5 speed. In 1989 this combination was the only way you could order a 5 speed. The previous owner stated they produced less than 300 vehicles with this power train combination in 1989, lthough we have not been able to confirm these production numbers. I can say though, 've never seen one. This car is over the top clean and would be considered "show condition". It has a clean CARFAX and AUTOCHECK. I've personally been in the used car business for over 30yrs and I've dabbled in old collector type cars my entire career.
