Totally restored Solar Gold T/A with Camel Tan deluxe vinyl interior. The car is an original WS6 equipped California car.

The car has been rebuilt from the subframe up and features:

• Heidts A-arms for improved handling
• Four-wheel stainless steel disc brakes - that work fantastic
• Original WS6 equipped car
• California built car that features a 403ci engine that was totally rebuilt with original matching numbers engine and transmission
• New exhaust system which features Flowmaster Mufflers and California legal Catalytic Converter
• The exterior is original down to the bird on the hood and other special edition graphics
• The interior has also been restore to original with the exception of the improved stereo radio
• The trunk is also original right down to the space-saver spare tire and original GM T-top bags

Engine features include:

• Olds Performance stud girdle that strengthens the block
• Edelbrock Performer Plus camshaft and valve train was installed for increased performance and features a 0.448-inch intake liftwith 280 degrees duration and a 472-inch exhaust lift with 295 degrees duration
• The engine has a slight performance idle and provides improved performance overall
• Visually the engine looks completely original and it passes California smog laws
• The engine is backed by a B&M rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission

In 1978, he Gold Special Editon cars were only built from February to July so a total of 8,648 were produced. According to informed sources only 880 were produced with the 403ci engine. Today, ess than 5% of the Gold Special Edition T/As remain.
