Description of 1979 Pontiac Trans Am t top |
1979 Pontiac Trans Am.Originally white with blue hounds tooth Lombardy seats.Recent repaint. Not the greatest job, but not bad looking. The rear TRANS AM is hand painted. It was born with AC, but needs a compressor now.Originally 403 olds engine. Now 455 olds with TH 400.Good solid body with just some surface rust and a few dings. The doors open and shut well with no sagging hingesyndrome.Owens CorningGLASS t-tops. Not the cheapPlexiglasstyle.I started restoring the interior, but now, due toarthritis, can no longer continue working on it, or other projects. I purchased new carpet, new door sills, and new front seats in the original Lombardy cloth. Still needs rear seat recovered and new door panels. The glass is all good. The trunk isspectacular clean. It runs and drives, and will burn the rear tires into next week, but still needs some TLC. It has brand new headers, and I connected them to the old exhaust system just to get itdrive able, but it is too restrictive for the 455 and needs much bigger pipes. These cars are only going up in value, and I hate to sell it, but it needs to go to someone who can finish and enjoy it.Its being sold as-is, where-is, but I will assist your shipper, or maybe bring it to your doorstep on my trailer. for an agreed on fee.Make me an offer and we can do a buy it now. Thanks On Apr-02-16 at 16:33:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Of course the mileage is not 8,000 miles. probably turned over, but on cars this old its exempt anyway. sorry for the confusion. |
