1968 Pontiac Catalina. In need of work. Excellentcandidatefor restoration . True mileage unknown. Interior is not bad. Previous owner redid complete interior and headliner. Engine not original. Previous owner put in an Olds 350 from 1977. Runs well. Engine mounts are not fully bolted. One bolt only on either side. Will need proper mounts or modification. Carburetor sometimes floods and probably should be rebuilt or replaced. New single exhaust to glasspack. Sounds perfect. TH400. Transmission works but seems to slip more than it should but it's hard to diagnose until engine is bolted in properly. Body is fairly straight but needs body work and paint. Though, in myopinion, this car is worthy of having some money and time spent on a nice paint job. Front bumper bent. Rear bumper dented. Small amount of rust through in passenger footwell and trunk but overall very rust free. Although, there could possibly be more rust spots under the vinyl top and behind the dash. Glass good except for a star crack in windshield which canprobablybe repaired without replacing the entire windshield. Wiring and sensors need to be gone through for proper operation of gauges. Missing glovebox door. Missing some exterior trim and rear valance. Included are: New carpet, new side window rubber seals, rear fender skirts, front valance, and additional air conditioning parts. Of course, there are much more little issues and parts that need attention with a project like this. However, this is a good solid classic car to start with. Good luck and thanks!
