Description of 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

The legendary black 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The car is a true American icon thanks to Hollywood. But when you see a coupe with great paint, ice-cold A/C, and an updated suspension, you soon realize that you can meet this idol because it won't disappoint.Of course we know why you love a '77 T/A. It's the genuine year for the original Smokey and the Bandit, but take a moment to clear you mind of that legend so you can see how this car gets its fundamentals right. It starts with a professional respray of its factory-correct Starlight Black paint. Modern clearcoat means a slippery shine that looks great in the sunlight. The gold pinstriping is in great shape, too. It follows all the main lines of the car, including around the fender flares, windows, and it even gives the impression of T-tops (but this one is really a watertight hardtop.) As a proper Trans Am, you get everything you love from the screaming chicken and shaker on the hood to the full-width rear spoiler. And of course, the best golden shine comes from the iconic snowflake-style wheels.Inside the stellar black and gold appearance continues. The black vinyl buckets are high-backed and well bolstered for an exceptionally nice feeling. These are looking good, and are complement by the nicely presented center console and dash. Other comfort options include power windows, tilt/telescoping three-spoke steering wheel, and the recent addition of a modern R134a air conditioning system. The driver gets to face the cool gold-colored machined aluminum dash, and everyone gets an upgrade with the AM/FM/CD stereo. It's an overall impression of a nice and well-maintained coupe with the right upgrades to give it modern comfort. With 400 cubic-inches under the hood, you'll find very few people willing to call the big V8's block color "baby" blue. This has been dressed up for show with Pontiac valve covers and that factory hood scoop. Plus, it has some nice muscle thanks to the four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and the rumble from the new Magnaflow dual exhaust. Trans Ams were known for their handling, and this one goes one step further with tubular upper control arms and subframe connectors. Plus, the power steering, three-speed automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and the modern grip of BF Goodrich gForce tires make this a great coupe for all conditions. So you're looking at a legendary Pontiac in a tighter handling package than you'll find just about anywhere else. That's the best recipe for looking good and having fun while doing it! Call today!!!
