Description of 1970 Pontiac Firebird Ram Air III |

It came to us from one of our favorite long term customers. He has owned the car for 19 years and it has not been restored. It has been driven, enjoyed, and well maintained. It is not a perfect show car by any means but it is not priced like one either. It wasrepainted years ago and still looks terrific. The Ram Air hood is fully functional. The odometer reads only 70,987 miles which is believed to be true and correct. It runs and drives very well. It feels like a low mileage car. The interior is mostly original and looks very good. It has all of it's factory options still intact. That includes the in-dash tachometer, Formula steering wheel, dual seat belts, console, and 8 track tape player. The car needs a high dollar detail to look it's best. Our shop is so busy that we just shot the car just as you see it right out of his garage. There is the usual distortion of minor cracking in the Endura front bumper. The rest of the trim, chrome, and glass looks great. The Rally II wheels are in good shape. The splitter style exhaust tips are not correct for a 70 model but look right at home since they later showed up on 1975 models. The chassis is clean and the body carries it's original sheet metal. This is a fine car that anyone would be proud to own. You could take this car to the next level with a thorough top to bottom detail and have a fabulous car. Or just drive the wheels off it like it is now. Make it yours today and burn rubber like never before. High NADA Classic book value on this car is $64,350 as of July 2016.
