Up for auction is a 1983 MSE Transam. This is #91 of 150 cars built in 1983, and 1 of 17 that were painted black. This car was purchased new at Bob Kriwhan (sp?) in Willoughby, Oh, but ended up in NC. This car was saved from a salvage yard 3 years ago, and the title work completed to present it with a clear NC title in my name. The intent was to save the car and hopefully get it to someone who wants to restore it. It is a 305, 700R4 car, equipped with a 10-bolt disc brake posi-traction rear axle. It has smoked T-tops. No playing games here, this car needs a complete restoration. At minimum, plan on replacing both doors on it, and repairing the driver side floor pan. HOWEVER, the MSE parts of this car are there, so that the money you spend restoring this car will be the same as restoring a standard Transam or Z28, but once complete, the car will be something truly unique. This car does NOT run, and I have no idea what condition any of the drivetrain is in. It will roll and steer for loading, and includes keys for the ignition and trunk. The car will include an original MSE brochure found in the map pocket of the car, as well as the original dealer application for a tag also found in the map pocket. All shipping charges and shipping must be coordinated by the buyer but I will help however necessary in meeting a transporter, etc, if need be, but remember, the car DOES NOT RUN. Buyer must pay $500 non-refundable deposit with 24 hours via Paypal, then balance may be paid via cash upon pick up, paypal, etc. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
