Real Deal Barn Find I purchased this car for the original owner to restore. He bought the car new in 1979 and it was his Pride & Joy. When his son reached driving age, it was passed on to him and he drove it a couple of years and finally bought his own first car. While the son drove the car it remained it the original owners name and has only been titled once since 1979. His son changed the color from the original Barclay Brown to the current Black and also recovered the original Camel Tan interior seats to the current Red. The seats are in great shape with no tears. The car was then passed on to his daughter, who also drove the car for a couple of years and finally got her own first car. Shortly after that the fuel pump failed and the car was setaside until I purchased it. The owner said he had always thought he would replace the fuel pump and drive the car again, but just never seemed to find the time. The car has never been wrecked and is very sold and would be a great restoration project. It is all original except for the exterior color change and the interior color change. Ithasn't run or even been moved in over 20 years. It comes AS ISWhere IS and the Buyer isresponsibleforhaving the car picked up and delivered to them. This is a Real Auction, I am not listing the car locally with the threat of cancelling the auction at any time. This car will go to theHighest Bidder at the end of the Auction. There are lots of pictures. Thefloors are very solid, there is some rust in the trunk and the back right side of the frame at the very end, otherwise very solid Firebird.
