California car, brought to Missouri when I purchased it 11 years ago. Always garaged and during my ownership. Car has been updated with the following new items: 4 wheel power disc brakes, overdrive automatic transmission, quick ratio steering box, oversize sway bar, electronic igniton, electronic fuel injection with new tank and in-tank pump, 17" wheels, dual exhaust and updated interior with seatbelts for 5. Car is an excellent driver and handles like a much newer car. The legendary Pontiac widetrack with it's fully boxed frame (unique to Grand Prix and Catalina convertible) and updated brakes, steering and fuel injection, provide unbelievable ride, handeling and dependability, while retuning 20 mpg. Mechanical systems have been maintained the following parts highlight the list of replacement parts: Factory air conditioning compressor, hoses, dryer, condensor, POA valve, expansion valve, blower, heater core, vacuum diaphrams and lines, damper seals. Alternator, starter, waterpump, radiator, all suspension and steering parts, axle seals, axle bearings, body seals, glass seals etc, You get the idea. Most of the chrome and stainless has been redone also. Car is a solid 9.5 out of 10, and I would not hesitate to drive anywhere.
