Description of 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Coupe 2-Door

Dark Blue...I bought this car a while back with intentions of restoring it,but I am no longer able due to major back issues. It has new door weatherstrip, and t tops arent leaking. It has the 403 4bbl with 3 speed automatic.Transmission shifts great, motor sounds fantastic.4bbl hesitates a little when you get on it hard.It appears to have been painted 1 time a long time ago with the original color, but it is starting to peel and looks tired. All body panels are solid with only minor surface rust where paint has came off.NO RUST THROUGH !! Underneath, including all pans, gas tank, sub frame, ect are solid. The only place I found is a baseball sized hole under rear passenger seat. The shaker hood scoop is not original to the car,and it is rigged up under the hood for looks. It needs an original style air cleaner housing to fit properly. It has a header gasket leaking on the passenger side, but the rest of exhaust is fine. It needs a heater core,so I have it bypassed under the hood. The A/C compressor, brackets, and hoses have been removed, and are in the trunk. The wheels appear to be from a newer model firebird. The power windows and door locks are not working and that is why the door panel is off of the passenger side door, because the window regulator is up farther than it should be so door panel will not go back on.Door panels are rough, and the armrests/handles are gone.Carpet is aftermarket, and poorly installed.Seats need recovered.Dash has small crack. The mileage is showing 96,482 and I dont believe it has rolled over based on the way it runs and drives. This car just is what it is.It could be a great restoration project,or patch a few things up and drive it.Brakes work great, and look to be pretty new.It has 4 wheel disk brakes.I also have brand new outer door window sweep/seals,but cant install untill window motors are fixed, but they come with the car. Please feel free to ask question. Thanks,Devin
