Description of 1975 Pontiac Bonneville

This beautiful Grandville Brougham has been keep in a time bubble untouched for decades! Always stored indoors, she spent the last 25+ years stored in our family business HEATED warehouse. This car is one of the cleanest examples of an original you will find! Our Dad leased it before purchasing it at the end of the first year. Approx the first 24k miles were placed on it during that first year. Also during the first year the car was placed in a auto show to display a new rust proofing product and a new car alarm system of that period. There is no rust to speak of on this car and the underside is absolutelyMINT, as are EVERY original panel. The only detectable rust is inside the trunk where temperaturechanges occurredand that could almost be easily wiped off. It comes with a second alarm system (same as the original) still new in box from 1975. We haven'ttried to start it and will leave that up to the new owner. We have complete confidence that she will purr. However, she will need all new hoses, tranny pan gasket, rear diff gasket and possible rear main seal. Or once started these may swell back to normal. The engine compartment will need detailed as they sprayed the rustproofing everywhere. Everything on the engine is original. The car was started once a year until the early 90's. She has the normal door dings from her early days. All very minor, nothing major. The paint shines like new, however you can see the old acid rain marks in it. It was my goal to repaint it but I'd have absolutelyno problem leaving it as is! The missing side molding strips are in the back seat. (the adhesive loosened & we didn't want to lose them, so I took them off). The canvas top is original with an approx 1/2 inch very minor cut that can be easily fixed and unseen. Dad changed the tires at the end of the first year. The tires even have the 1976 date code on them. However, they are only good for transport. This is a truly beautiful car and will be extremely hard to part with. She still has that new car smell! It's time for a new home full of the love and fun times! It is for sale locally here in the Toledo, Ohio area so I reserve the right to end the auction early. We are very close to Toledo Express Airport and one hour from Detroit Metro Airport. We can pick you up at either should you desire. Car cover included. If you have an Ebay rating of 10 or lower, you must contact first before bidding or your bid is subject to rejection/removal. Good Luck and happy bidding! She definitelyis a beauty!

*** Pictures added of engine compartment and trunk. Regarding engine area, you can see surface rust on air cleaner. A mouse took some of the hood insulation and made a nest on top of the air cleaner lid. The mouse urine caused the paint on the lid to degrade. We have a new piece of hood insulation to go with it. The trunk compartment is very solid and can almost be hand wiped down. It may appear dark in the pictures as the trunk paint matches the exterior color...plus it's in a dark garage. ***

*** One more comment to answer someone who called me; The rustproofing in/on the engine compartment comes off with diesel fuel. Wiping off an area will show the paint/area under to be nicely preserved. The engine is NOT seized and will turn. However, the fuel will need drained, etc. Again, we have no doubt she will run just fine given the time and attention to do it right. I'm sure she was started by our Dad more past the years listed, but we have no 'hard' facts/dates. Therefore, to be as upfront and accurate as possible, I estimated fewer years doing engine starts/runs etc.***
