Description of 1982 Pontiac Firebird |
This is a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am K.I.T.T. replica from the TV show Knight Rider! Here's a rundown of the car: Exterior Front Extended Nose Scanner from Sid Bowling Ball Hub Caps Custom tail light Blackout Electric Antennae lowers to into the hood KNIGHT replica license plate Foglights act as turn signals with Mustang style sequential chase kit “Motor4it” module Pop up head lights New alarm with Remote Starter - starts car and turns on Scanner light with or without fog lights Interior Gulwing Steering Wheel with Functioning Horn Button or optional plate to cover it. (Plate is on in photo) Tan PMD seats Brand New Power Acoustik Stereo system with USB, CD, DVD, Bluetooth, Aux in, Navigation, Rear View Camera Custom Lower Console that Controls: Scanner Fog Lights Stereo Exterior Speaker Rear Camera Console Lights Electric Antennae Trunk Power Windows & Locks The car has been garage kept for the past 3 years and driven occasionally. Theengine is a GM 305 replacement and the car starts up right away and runs well. The seats are tan "PMD" just like in the show and have no tears or rips in the fabric and the driver's seat is fully electric in all directions while the passenger's seat is manual. The inside carpeting and upholstery on the doors and headliner is dark grey and in ok condition but easy enough to purchase to replace to match the tan to be show accurate. The carpeting in the trunk was replaced and looks great. The steel turbo cowl induction hood is factory and not a fiberglass aftermarket version. The paint on the car is good but not perfect but when washed or waxed looks great and really shines! There are some small chips at the edges but not very noticeable unless looking very close. Other accessories not installed that are included: Season 1/2 Switchpods with tone generator (needs to be wired) Season 1/2 Voicebox bezel and Knight Rider Voicebox with wires An extra custom tail light plexiglass blackout Shim bar for bumper and scanner (raises the scanner to make the hood as flush against it as can be) Knight Rider Graphic DVDs that can be played in the Stereo. Tons of phrases from the show Knight Rider that you can burn to a CD or iPod or USB drive to play through the speakers. I have records of all the improvement work that I've had done on the car and will include them along with manuals and receipts for accessories. The lower console has been streamlined and labeled to be extremely easy to use and if it's replaced with a screen accurate console, everything can be unplugged and replugged in with ease. I have other accessories that are not included as some buyers have dashes and electronics or would like a specific season or vendor's work. Here are the retail prices for the following that I have which I am happy to negotiate and create a package or sell separately. (We'll go through eBay as well to keep everything on the up and up) 1) Knight Inspirations out of mold Season 4 dash ($600) 2) Jupiter Electronics Season 4 dash electronics and voice box with bezels and overlays - $2100 3) Billy Gunter tail light plexiglass blackout and installation kit - $300 4) Billy Gunter Lower Console and dummy space map. (can be connected with existing wiring for all controls listed above) - $350 5) Cyberdine Digital Gauge Cluster (if someone doesn't want to replace the entire dash but wants an updated LED look) $620 Buyer can come pick up or buyer can pay for shipping which I can arrange. If there are any questions please feel free to message me. Good luck Knight Rider fans!!! |
