Description of 1973 Pontiac Other Base Wagon

If you can even find one of these. you know you can't get one that is running for what I am asking. let alone one this solid. As mentioned. it is mechanically solid. Fires right up on the coldest of Kansas days and runs good. The previous owner replaced just about everything you can replace on this car short of the carb and cosmetics/body. Engine still has great compression and I just put a new Edelbrock intake and carb on it. I just tuned it up and had the transmission rebuilt. This car tracks straight and drives nice. It cruises at 75 no problem because of the gearing. The front tires are still 80%. and the rear have less than 1. 00 miles on them. Here's what doesn't work or needs attention: The radio. clock and gas gauge don't work. The interior dome light doesn't work. probably just needs a new bulb- haven't messed with it. The lower portion of the front seat is toast. I have a cover on it. Heater is weak. Could probably use a new blower motor. The AC is all there. to include the belt. but it doesn't blow cold. Probably just needs to be charged. The body has some significant bubbling under the tape you see in the pics. There is one rusted through spot in front of the drivers side rear wheel. All very fixable. but I didn't want to put in the time or money. It's a fun car that sounds great and actually attracts a lot of attention. My kids love it. It does have true duals with single chamber mufflers. It sounds like a muscle car! I know this is cliché. but I would truly drive this car anywhere (as long as I didn't need the heater). I am selling because I want to buy another car and the wife says this one has to go. Please ask me if you have any questions. It has Colorado plates because we moved here to Pratt. KS last summer.
