There are lots of late 60s nice looking Firebirds for $20,000 to $25,000. That price usually gets you a 50 year old stock motor that might be good for Sunday cruises once in a while but the trouble starts once you start driving more and motor repairs and upgrades run in the thousands. Many guys paint right over rust in the door jambs and engine bay that might look OK at first glance but can require extensive expensive repairs. A good paint job is $3,000 or more easily. My car is not perfect but in very good structural and mechanical condition. The motor is upgraded and updated. I prefer power and reliability to stock when it comes to motors. The body has a few dings from driving but nothing major. The paint job is excellent. You could drop a quick $10,000 on a car purchased in the low to mid $20,000 to get it up to speed. My car is ready to go.

This Firebird is a great driver car. It runs like a champ and has been very reliable, especially for a 50 year old car. Jump in it and go anytime. It runs great on premium fuel. Much faster and more reliable than a 50 year old stock motor. It turns heads wherever it goes. It is a pleasure to drive with ice cold AC, power steering and brakes, and tilt wheel steering. It is great to sit and look at in a garage but this Firebird is built to run strong and go at a moments notice. It will put a smile on your face.
I can assist in finding you someone to transport the car in an enclosed trailer. It is too pretty for long road trips.
