Description of 1991 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible 5.0 L

Up for sale is my 1991 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible with the very rare triple black color combination. This rare Trans Am comes with original manuals. copy of the original invoice from GM archives indicating this car was a GM PEP Program car. the convertible supplement. and some of the maintenance records dating back to 1998. According to to the records at Compnine. com. this vehicle is ONE of SIX triple black. 5 Speed convertibles built in 1991. I am not a dealer and have a clear title on hand. The car fax report is clean and it confirms documentation. I have own several trans am. but I can honestly tell you that you can feel the power of this 5 speed black beauty trans am. Exterior The exterior of this trans am is very nice and is consistent with its low miles of 54K. It does have a couple of scratches that can be shown on the photos and other small spots expected for the age. The photos show the exterior as it is currently looks if you were here in person (inspection companies are welcomed). The nose. the hood and the back bumper were repainted because of a few bug spots and a few spots on the rear bumper. The entire vehicle was than lightly buffed and professionally waxed by a body shop (receipts enclosed). Tail lights are in almost new condition. the convertible top its original with no damage and goes up and down smoothly. The plastic rear window has been replaced and its crystal clear (receipt enclosed). The under body was undercoated when new or very early in its life and its all rust free. The original owner had the vehicle from 1992 to 2007 only used the car during the summer and was never exposed to any winter weather. InteriorThe interior is all original and extremely taken care of. It looks like the car has half of the miles it has now. There are no cracks in the dash or center console. The seats are in great shape with little wear on front bolsters. The carpet is clean with its original GM mats. All dash lights work great. A/C is very cold. original radio works but the right rear speaker does make a buzzing noise. Drive trainThe engine and entire drive train are very clean and there are no leaks at all anywhere. The starter is strong and the engine starts right up with no smoke. The engine is all stock. clutch pedal is strong. and transmission shifts smoothly. The tires are Goodyear Eagles F1's with about 40% to 50% tread wear left on them. DocumentationThis rare trans am with the comes with its original manual and convertible supplement along with the selling dealer business card. Copy of the original invoice from GM archives showing the car was delivered to GM Auction Sales. since car was used by a GM PEP Program car. It is my understanding with the PEP Programs. GM Executives could order a car and drive it around for a six month period. According to the vehicle invoice. this car was priced internally on 3/91. built in 5/91 and invoiced in 11/91. The original owner bought the car in 1/92. According to compnine. com. this car is one of SIX TRIPLE BLACK 5 SPEED CONVERTIBLES BUILT IN 1991. I have various receipts for maintenance and service records that go back to 1998. I am not a dealer and I have a clear Georgia title. I bought this car to store it for a while since it will be worth more money in the future. but wife got a new car and need garage space. Vehicle has been always kept in the garage with cover to protect it. SummaryThis vehicle has a huge collector potential with the 3rd generation F body rapidly growing in popularity. Its a 24 year old car. where in six more years it would be considered an antique. Vehicle is fun to drive around and seen with.
