Description of 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT

This is my 31 year old 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT. This car was rebuilt about 5 years ago. I had a $6000 repaint done on the car 3 years ago. I won't say the paint is perfect but it's dang near perfect with a very minor 1/4" scratch on the passenger side and a touched up chip on the bottom of the driver's side mirror! The 1988 2.8L V6 was rebuilt 25,000 miles ago. The car chassis has 176,000 miles on it but runs and drives like new. This car has a 1988 5-speed Getrag transmission which shifts like "butter" with its new shifter cables! Almost everything in the interior is new with exception of the carpet which was in great shape. The seats have new foam and new factory covers. The headliner and sun visors are new. I put on a very rare aftermarket custom molded dash cover (can't get them anymore) that gives the dash a much nicer appearance than what the factory produced. I put on aftermarket custom 17" wheels with Fiero center caps and Kumho performance rain tires. The sail panel windows on the GT cars always crack or delaminate. Both of these sail panel windows are brand new. Almost every Fiero GT you see has tail lights that are delaminated. These tail lights are PERFECT. The car has a "D" shaped leather MOMO steering wheel with Pontiac horn button, leather Hurst shift knob, new carpeted floor mats, and Pioneer 1.5 DIN CD radio (although I would rather listen to the FANTASTIC exhaust note!). The brake calipers have been painted to match the car. The car has cruise, power windows, power locks, removable glass sun roof, and AC. Problems: The AC worked perfectly up until this spring when the compressor clutch seized - so it needs a new AC compressor clutch. The parking brake needs a new cable installed - I have the new cable. I have noticed this year that the chassis bushings are apparently starting to wear as the car has suspension rattles on rough roads. And, there is a minor crack in the rear exhaust manifold that I have ignored since you can't hear it over the mufflers anyway. I love this car. It draws comments from everyone who sees it BUT, I am getting too old and FAT to drive it these days. I have a clear Iowa title in my hands. This Cedar Rapids Iowa collector car is priced at $9,995.
