I have a 1953 Pontiac Chieftain that is stock looking on the outside, but has added chrome from a Chevy Belaire of the same year. It has power disc brakes in front, power steering using a 605 Steering gears, and is power by a 64 Pontiac Catalina 389 engine that is bored 30 over and has a 4 inch stroke making it actually a 421. Edlebrok 650 carb, electronic ignition, new headliner, seat have been stripped down to springs and redone in Gray and White. Pedals are form a 68 Chevy PU, as is the transmission a 4 speed saginaw with a 3 ring imput shaft, new radiator and radio. The car has been lowered and has new wheels and tires. the rear end gear is a 3.08 open rear from a 55 Pontiac. the top is grey and the bottom is satin black. New gauges and custom dash. Needs front end alignment, exhaust work and some finishing up. Motor is very strong and has been rebuilt, using 63 421 heads. I used a 64 Pontiac aluminum bellhousing and it has a new starter that bolts up to the engine block. The car should be trailer home as it is not tagged or inspected. I have some additional parts that go with the car including 2 3rd members, a steering tie rods and additional chrome pieces. I am only selling because I can't finish it and have about 10K in it. Thanks for looking! I brought this car from Texasa with me to Delaware and it has a clear Texas title in my name.Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and to arrange shipping.
