Description of 1991 Pontiac Firebird Convertible |
1991 ASC Factory Firebird Convertible with a strong running 5.0 liter TBI, V-8 motor and automatic transmission. Car runs and drives very well. Has recent tires and the interior is excellent condition. A convertible Firebird is a rare sight (only 950 made in 1991, the first year since 1969 that you could get a FACTORY convertible) and a factory triple black combo makes this a 1 of 184 ever made. Average of 6,200 miles per year, so a total of 160,000 miles showing on odometer; drives like a car with half that mileage. Power windows (passenger is a little troublesome from time to time, a common problem and an easy fix.) power locks, power steering and power front disc brakes. Qualifies for the cheaper antique license plates and cheap collector car insurance. Every car looks better in pictures than standing six inches away and this car is no exception. Paint shows better than it is, but the car does shine up really well. These pictures are current and show the condition of the car as it is now. Top is in very good condition, however the rear window was replaced and it is an amateur job; and yep, when I wash it, it does leak; never mattered to me because I always drove with the top down. Fuel gauge always reads full, so it doesn't work right. Trunk shocks are weak, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Antennae doesn't retract, but radio works fine...little crackle in the speakers and that is likely from sitting as most of my cars have the exact same issue. Car gets many thumbs up when I drive it and you likely will never see another one like it, so it could be considered “rare”…if that is your thing.
Car is sold "as is" and is located in Will County, Illinois which is to be considered the only proper venue should a dispute arise. |
