This listing is for an incredibly original 1965 Pontiac Star Chief. It was recently removed from a farm in NC with several other classic vehicles after the owner passed away. This vehicle wears its original Cameo Ivory paint, has its original turquoise interior and has its original numbers matching drivetrain. Equipped with power steering and power brakes, this vehicle is exactly as it left the factory down to the original radiator hoses, date coded spark plug wires, assembly line chalk marks and Westinghouse/T-3 headlights! A true time capsule that has not been driven since 1986 when it was parked for a leaking power steering hose. The 290 hp YC code 389 ci engine turns over by hand but I have not tried to fire it. Engine appears to be complete with the exception of one spark plug wire and will likely run with very little effort. All of the windows roll up & down but some of the doors are stuck closed. All glass appears to be original with no chips or cracks, but the windshield is starting to fog around the edges. Body has rust in the trunk, floors and lower quarters but the frame looks to be very solid from what I can see. This vehicle has been sitting for 31 years and will need a basic inspection and maintenance before being road worthy. An absolutely original car with no bondo or repaints to hide anything. The title for this vehicle was lost during the sale of the previous owners estate and it will be sold with a bill of sale only. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. !!! NO RESERVE !!!
