Description of 1978 Pontiac Trans Am

Up for auction is my 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
Options include:Numbers matching 220 hp Pontiac 400 V8 (RPO W72)Borg Warner ST-10 4-speed transmissionWS6 suspension package with 8" wide snowflake wheels3.42 posi rear axle (part of the W72 package)Tilt steering wheel.
This car came originally equipped with no A/C, crank windows and standard vinyl interior.
The engine was rebuilt with a new cam, lifters, all bearings and seals, rings and gaskets. It has the VIN number stamped in the block. It is a W72 "XX" block. It has a new flywheel and clutch. It has all its original emission components including the factory GM catalytic converter and mufflers. The original carburetor has been rebuilt and the radiator was cleaned and checked. It never overheats.
Transmission was inspected and is like new inside. It shifts great with no grinding. The VIN number is stamped on the transmission along with a date code.
The body was stripped down to bare metal and repainted. It has all of its original sheet metal. No body panels or floor boards were replaced. All new Phoenix Graphics decals, new center caps on the wheels, new window sweeps on the doors. New hood scoop seal. Scoop is not cut.
New Cooper Cobra Radial tires 255/60/15 on all 4 wheels.
Brakes are good.
Overall it is a nice running and driving car. Great driver.
