Description of 1967 Pontiac GTO

My wife did an awesome thing and surprised me with this car for my 50th birthday.I like the car.....but I am not an old car guy....more of a Bentley guy.So we picked up the car in Texas this weekend and drove it to Yuma, AZ.Please keep in mind that I know nothing about collectors cars.
The car has quite a few updates, and I found a few things it needs.It has new Auto Meter Phantom gauges.Original numbers matching engine.Newer Tremec 5 speed transmission.Body looks great in orange ( thats the only reason she bought it)It needs new door and trunk lock cycinders.Horn doesn't work. All lights work.Car starts right up and sounds awesome. Transmission shifts smooth. I think the new speedometer is out about 15%Interior is very clean...no rips or tears. Tires are new!The previous owner just put on a new carb. But I think it needs to be tuned. Plenty of power on the highway, but in the lower 3 gears it really lurches.
I just drove it 1100 miles....and would do it again.But we are selling this to get a Bentley GTC.
