This GTO was optioned from new and Pontiac Historic Society documented to be ordered with :
Factory 389 Tri-Power engine (YR coded tripower engine), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Convertible Top, Rally gauge package, Factory tachometer, Bucket seating, Center full length console, Dual exhaust, Convertible top cover, padded dash board, deluxe remote control side mirror, and Posi-Traction Rear end. The car was also treated to the high dollar correct Hurst Chrome plated wheels on new Redline tires.

A recent rotisserie restoration was just performed on this rare Tri-Power car. The restoration started out with an amazing solid un-restored survivor. The car still retained the original paint, and all original rust free sheet metal prior to restoration. Yes, this car needed no metal work! The meticulous restorations started with restoring the chassis and undercarriage and working up. The under side is highly detailed and looks like a new car. The paint was applied and color sand. All new chrome was installed. The interior was replaced all new with correct pontiac logo seat covers, door panels, dash pad, sunvisors, kick panels, carpets, dash and gauge restoration, and new carpet. The top is brand new and expertly installed as well. Engine has been gone through and runs and drives like a new one. The correct Tri Power Carburetors were all professionally rebuilt and perform flawlessly. All lights, gauges, and accesory are properly working including the original radio. This car is correctly restored right down to the T3 Headlamps.

Documentation of the Rare GTO include the Pontiac History Society Documentation, Original Protect O Plate matching the original Tripower Engine to the car when new, Original Owners manual, Photos of the car with original paint prior to the restoration, and Restoration Receipts.
