Up for auction is a GREAT 1968 Pontiac Firebird PROJECT. It has a rebuilt Pontiac 350 with 0 miles on it and its never been started. The Turbo 350 trans was rebuilt also with 0 miles. The car has tons of new parts, and about $10,000 invested into the car not including buying the car. It has a new Aluminum radiator, new Black Magic electric cooling fan and Controller, Billet pulleys, new single wire alternator, new Hedman Headers and dual exhaust. It has a new Edelbrock intake, Lokar Kickdown/ Throttle cable set up, all new front end suspension and bushings, new shocks, new coil springs, new everything under the hood practically. Power disc brake upgrade, and a rebuilt power steering gear box and new lines. I have receipts for everything I just listed too. The car does not run and drive right now but, it would only take a weekend to make it happen. I will take offers for the car, just don't low ball me please, as I have a lot into this car. There is a new Painless style complete wiring harness in the car but, it's about 60% complete right now. The car has the original drum brakes in the rear with a non posi rear end. The Weld style wheels are 17" to accommodate for the Corvette brake upgrade, and the wheels and tires are in good shape overall. New brake lines and Proportioning Valve. The front Grille Pieces are both end, and the front bumper is new also. The interior is pretty complete overall, and in decent shape. The dash was upgraded to a Rallye style cluster instead on the stock one too. There is NO RUST on the car, floors look great, trunk looks great, and the frame looks great. The hood is new, fenders are ok, not great, and the rear quarters were installed by an amateur as they used rivets in some spots. The car is a 20 footer with a low end paint job right now. My plans were the drive train first, and then buy some new sheet metal. With the car being rust free I was already ahead of most Firebirds. The car needs work but, a lot has already been completed. I have a several receipts, and the trunk is full of extra parts that go with the car. The car is being sold " As Is" with no warranty. There is a non refundable deposit of $1000 due by the winning bidder immediately after the auction closes. The final balance must be paid within 3 days of the auction closing also. The car is available for inspection anytime before the auction ends. I will take offers for the car, just be reasonable or I will not even respond. I have a clear Nevada title for the car.
