1979 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition Y84. What makes this car so unique and rare is the fact that it’s a factory L37 301 Pontiac engined car. The bulk of 1979 automatic TAs that year were 403 Oldsmobile powered cars. It’s only one of 360 produced in this configuration. Unfortunately the original driveline is long gone but this does give you the option to install a stout 400 or 455 Pontiac and still retain the original look. Originally equipped with AC, 8 track, tilt wheel and hide-a-way spare tire. Floors will need pans, trunk will need small patches, driver side has some dents on the fender, door and rear quarter.
