Cruisin Classics would like to welcome to our Showroom a Tri-Power, 1965 Pontiac GTO. This PHS Documented beauty is a highly welcomed classic that needs to find a new home. There is a picture of the documentation in this listing and it will go with the new owner upon purchase. The first thing that you notice is the beautiful color of Night-shift Blue. A color that can be less forgiving to some classics but does this GTO proud. The outside also... boasts beautiful trim and chrome, proper GTO badging, Cooper Zeon Tires (245/45R17 fronts- 275/40R17 rears), Cragar Aluminum Alloy Wheels, 4-Drums, very desirable stacked headlights and the classic muscle look that only the GTO brings.Breaking down the engine is as follows. The engines casting number of 9778789=1965 389 motor, with a build date of April 13, '65 (D135).The front of the motor marked YS=389-335 HP used and mated only with an automatic transmission. With all of these build/suffix/casting dates lining up in sequence, we don't have anything that tells us that this is not the original engine. Notable mentions on the engine are the 3 X Rochester deuces covered by chrome topped air filters, chrome valve covers and cap, ceramic coated headers and power steering for the one-finger turn.Underneath is also a spectacle with it's cleanliness and sturdiness. Torsion bars front and back, floor pans that will be around for years, dual Flowmaster exhaust and a 10 bolt rear end.The interior is loaded with GTO memories that start with the Black Buckets, Wood-grain dash fascia, wood-grain 3-spoke steering wheel, SunPro aftermarket under dash gauges, floor shifter by Hurst Competition, awesome Black carpet and headliner, original PONTIAC radio and the recognizable glove-box handle. Here is what you are getting...A Pontiac Historical Society Documented REAL GTO. An upgraded Muncie 4-speed transmission, Freshened Night-shift Blue paint, a fun driving muscle car that will do nothing but bring you joy and a happiness and maybe even a little extra dough in the future. If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
