1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula NO RESERVE

This Formula in brilliant red metallic and medium beechwood cloth interior has the WS6 Special Performance Package; the LB9 TPI V-8 305 motor (87K miles) and automatic transmission. Out back is a G80 Posi Traction Limited Slip Differential with 2.73 gears and of course, the car has t-tops. I believe it to be an original paint car with only minor imperfections here or there from it's 27 years of life. It is fresh out of winter storage. I've owned the car for going on seven years and it was always a "summer car" only used on nice days and nights. Not driven much in the rain, only when unexpected rain popped up, and never driven in the winter during my ownership. Car runs, drives and stops as it should. It has an upgraded stereo and I put a set of crosslace rims on it in place of the factory Formula salad shooters. Overall very nice condition and a car that gets tons of looks when I do drive it. It is rare as Firebirds go, and there are not many 91 Formulas out there and even far less still wearing their original paint. No tears in the interior seats, no scuffs either and the dash is original and not cracked; this really is a very nice example of a cool old Firebird, that you could be enjoying by the weekend and at a price that will not break the bank. The car qualifies for cheaper antique license plates and cheap collector car insurance. I've done a nationwide search to try to get some comparable sales to help me establish a realistic starting price and pretty much came up empty. I've consulted Hagerty Insurance, the company I have it insured with, for values and find that they rank it from $5,900.00 in fair condition; $8,400.00 in good condition and $12,300.00 in excellent condition. I would say that this car is, at a minimum, in good condition. I've had the car insured for the last seven years at $8,000.00, however I'll start it off at the low end of the range and offer it at "no reserve" and see what happens. I do however, reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally.

In the unlikely event of a dispute, Will County, Illinois is the only proper jurisdiction to hear and decide the case. The car will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared my bank. I will accept cash at pickup or a wire transfer if necessary, but again, the car will not leave my possession until funds are verified. NO Paypal. I will work with your shipper if you are out of state and I also welcome an inspection by a third party service should you desire it.
