The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile that was built by Pontiac from the 1967 to the 2002 model years. The Firebird was introduced 23 February 1967, the same model year as the automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. This coincided with the release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, which shared its platform with another pony car, the Ford Mustang. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1988 Pontiac Firebird TransAm for your consideration. The car remains in largely... stock condition. It is powered by its 305 v8 that runs strong and is paired to an automatic transmission. The car has been owned and babied by the same owner for the last 14 years. In 2006 the Firebird received a new engine and comes with receipts showing this. The car also had a repaint in 2006. Highlights include a fiberglass rear spoiler, sunroof, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM stereo, owner's manual, center console, performance suspension, 15 inch wheels with Bridgestone tires that are in excellent condition. The gray cloth interior remains in good condition as well. This is a great car and is ready for its new owner. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit our website
