Description of 1970 Pontiac GTO |
1970 Pontiac GTOConvertible2 Owner Car!From Dry South CarolinaCar was frame off restored 2007Bare metal respray and complete driveline rebuild at that timeAbout 15,000 miles on $50,000 restoration400/350hp TH-400 Car CorrectAtollBlue with Black InteriorCar started out as a very nice original paint completely unmolested 70 GTO Convertible 60k miles on it. -PHS Documented-Protect-O-Plate In 2016, another $10,000 was spent on the car to take it from a beautifully restored car into the 21st century, including drop spindles, disc brakes, 17" American Racing Wheels with Goodyear tires, a FiTech Fuel Injection System was installed as well, giving the car easy starting hot or cold, instantthrottle response. Also, front and rear sway bars and the disc brakes make it stop on a dime. a 2.5" stainless steel exhaust was also installed with custom tips andflow master exhaust, really sounds tinny with the Ram Air IV cam installed as well. The paint and interior are excellent, interior is most Legendary Brand with new foam, restored seat frames, the rest is NOS or nice original parts. This car really needs nothing. It is a excellent mix of originality with the spice of drivability and technology. I have the original AM/FM Stereo for the car as well as a retrosound, which needs to be installed. I got as far as removing the old one...and moved on to something else. I also have the 4 NOS wheel well moldings, I just removed thembecause the car just looks better without them. The hood has RamAir IV decals installed foraesthetics, but removed in 5 minutes if you do not like them. I paid $37,500 for the car, excellent Pedigree... was from the Miller Collection, so you know it is "No Expense Spared" and have another $10,000 in it... You can reach me at 630 273-7595 |
