Up for auction is a 1964 Tempest Convertible. Car appears to be 99% original. The Vin decodes the following 215 cu in (3.5 L) I6 Convertible (6-Cylinder): Production numbers 4,465 614p212582 6-cylinder Tempest custom 1964 built in Pontiac Michigan Car is equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission "Column/ On the Tree". As you can see the car needs a full restoration. Purchased in Louisville Kentucky have original binder in very poor condition from dealership .Car comes with signed off clear Kentucky title. I would venture to say the original color combo was white exterior, blue interior and not sure of the top color. I never sent in to Phs for additional details on car Motor Turns over and roughly a year ago was able to fire car up with good battery and gas can. The Tempest has extensive rust in most if not all body panels. Frame has one bad spot in what I would consider a good area as it simply would need patched at this point .my opinion and not the gospel "Picture enclosed". I have come to the conclusion that it will be up years before I can look at tackling this project. It simply makes no sense for the car to sit, again will need full restoration. Door, hood and trunk shut fine. " no lock on trunk" see photos body lines are good..no sagging Can see in person before bidding. Feel free and message me. Location is very close to interstate 71 and state route 30 in Mansfield Ohio. 70 miles north of Columbus and 70 south of Cleveland. Car will come with a different set of wheels.
