This 40 Pontiac is super straight and sharp, got it from an estate, it was just repainted nice and shiney black, That was all it needed to be really really nice and completed. You can buy a Ford or Chevy but this is a rare car not many around. The interior is the greatest thing about the car. Previous owner spent $6000 on an original style complete job from headliner to floor carpeting. It is one of the nicest jobs I have seen on an old original car.It has all new glass and weatherstripping, all windows open perfectly as do the doors close with ease. The gauges all work and look like new as with the entire dash.Brand new wide whitewallsThe car has had engine rebuilt along with all mechanical systems, brakes suspension etc.3 on the tree and it shifts nicelyIt drives great and is nice and tight steeringIt has a new Fulton style visor that really adds a nice touch.New GM fog lights with original switch. All lights work great. The trunk area is finished nicely. It is a fun car to take another couple out on the town with.A few minor things to finish- wiper system needs 1 little short rod from switch to motor to work. Motor and wipers are functional. heater switch needs to be hooked up its all there. Has 2 different sets of hood springs and I don't think either are correct so off, hood fits and closes nice. The rear bumper and front corners are coated chrome would be nice to get chromed but look good as isThe speedo shows around 5000 miles Im guessing that is from mechanical restorationOpening price is a bargain for this quality and rarityI can store in heated shed for a month or 2 if needed for free
