Description of 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix |
I bought this several years ago hoping to finish it but time has taken me to the reality of age limits so I need to down size. The engine is modified with cam, Q-jet carb, and HEI ignition and still had break in oil in it when I got it. Runs great. 4 speed has Hurst linkage and shifts good. Trans is original. Rear end has new gasket but other than being a posi don't know any other details other than it seems low ratio. Interior is driver with damaged head liner, worn door panels, no torn seats, working power windows and after market gauges. Gas tank has been replaced but gauge doesn't register correctly. Bumpers are straight w original chrome. Front clip and doors are solid (extra doors, hood, deck lid rear glass and many small trim parts included.) Rear quarters need repair, I have some patch panels. and trunk floor needs repairs finished. Some suspension parts replaced at some point. Power brakes but no power steering. Will include power steering pump and box. Like new BFG 15" RWL tires. Never had brakes apart but they pull a little from sitting I think. I have driven this car on several 50 mile round trips without a problem but I highly recommend trailer or towing. No reserve so bid to win. |
