Description of 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT

I bought this car in 2012 for $6000 when it had 54,000 miles on it. The engine spun a crank bearing within a couple of weeks. I REPLACED the engine with a rebuilt JASPER and had it installed at a professional mechanic's shop. At the same time, I replaced virtually everything in the engine bay including injector o-rings, thermostat, water pump, clutch kit, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, plugs, wires, belts, air filter, transmission mount, engine mount, alternator, AC compressor, ECU, transmission shift select cable and a rebuilt throttle body. I have also done some other things around the car like rebuilt headlight motors, new quarter windows, new window seals, new radiator overflow reservoir, new ash trays and ash tray doors and some bulbs around the car. I have had the headliner and sunvisors recovered at a professional upholsterer and they match OEM perfectly. I have added a custom set of floormats. I replaced all rims with factory refinished OEM honeycombs and they are exceptional (I still have the old ones too). Seat upholstery looks about 7.5/10 but I also have 2 extra lower cushion covers that are even better that I was just holding on to. I have replaced all shocks and struts, ball joints and tie rod ends as well as brakes and rotors. I think I recall also replacing the steering rack. I have receipts for most of the items mentioned but not all. The tires on the car have about 70-80% tread on them. I worked hard restoring this car and have right at $12,000 invested. If I were going to do anything else it would be to replace all suspension bushings to improve handling. The paint is very presentable and only has some minor blemishes. The AC is leaking somewhere and needs to be recharged and the leak found. Since I had the engine replaced, I have not even put 200 miles on this car. At current the mileage shows on the odometer as 55,905. It runs extremely well for a V6. I am asking $6950 for the car. It will make someone a great collector. I was just going to sit on it but I would like to have the garage space for toys I actually use. I encourage potential buyers to come see the car in person. Shipping by any courier must be assumed by the buyer.
