GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1966 Pontiac GTO for your consideration. Finished in Chrylser Inca Gold Paint with custom fabrication work on the front and rear bumpers. Powering this beauty is 400ci Tri-Power with 670 GTO heads driven through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. Other drivetrain parts include a 9" rear end, 3.50 Posi, and Magnaflow exhaust. The suspension set up is a Detroit Speed and Engineering full Coilover suspension along with Schott...wheels wrapped with Nitto Tires. The interior on this GTO has a custom wiring harness, Camaro dash cluster, Vintage air/heat, aluminum handmade console, power window, power locks, power seats, compass/temp gauge in the rearview mirror, and a power convertible top. All the wiring throughout the engine bay and body has been tucked up away to give a very clean look, this GTO was also featured in the 2017 Autorama show in Detroit, MI. For more information please contact us today. The GTO became a separate Pontiac model (model number 242) in 1966, instead of being an "option package" on the Tempest LeMans. The entire GM "A" body intermediate line was restyled that year, gaining more curvaceous styling with kicked-up rear fender lines for a "Coke-bottle" look, and a slightly "tunneled" backlight. The tail light featured a louvered cover, only seen on the GTO. Overall length grew only fractionally, to 206.4 in, still on a 115 in wheelbase, while width expanded to 74.4 in.
