Incredibly Rare, Desirable 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop

The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge 2 Door Hardtop with Polar White exterior paint and a red vinyl interior. This is not a... tribute or a replica, but one of 3,629 real GTO Judges produced in 1970 with a 400 cid Ram Air III V-8 engine, a matching Muncie M20 4-speed transmission, Posi-traction, power steering, power brakes, a heavy duty suspension and a hood tachometer. What makes this example especially rare, other than its amazing overall condition, is the factory installed black spoiler and hood scoops (WT7)that was only ordered on 51 Judges in 1970.

This amazing muscle car is in fantastic condition as well and it’s fully PHS documented with a copy of the build sheet. Even its original Texas plates are included in this sale!

One of Only 51 GTO’s Ever Built w/ WT7 Black Spoiler Option

This 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop was built in the Arlington, Texas plant on November 6th, 1969 and remained in Texas with the original owner for a large part of its life. It’s been enjoyed by three lifetime owners, the most recent of which took possession in 2018; shortly after the factory drivetrain was rebuilt and this entire rare muscle car was sorted from top to bottom. The frame-off restoration took over a year and virtually every component was rebuilt or restored back to factory specifications, including all glass, trim and the entire interior.

From what we can see, this 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop appears to be bone stock throughout with an immaculate engine compartment and undercarriage. There’s very little doubt over the quality of this restoration since the body lines are as smooth as glass while the show quality paint shines brightly. The interior shows only the slightest signs of imperfection and this is honestly one of the most impressive, fully correct examples we’ve ever come across.

Additionally, this 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop drives just as nicely today as when it first left the factory in Arlington fifty years ago. The acceleration is instant and this beautiful muscle car handles the open road like a dream. It has great compression, instant torque and power, smooth handling and everything you look for in an investment-grade example

Painstakingly Restored Back to True Factory Perfection

Overall, this rare and authentic 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop is easily one of the most prestigious, factory correct models on the open market today. Given its extreme rarity with the factory black spoilers, there’s simply no way this ultra-desirable muscle car remains available for long.
