Description of 1966 Pontiac Le Mans GTO

1966 PONTIAC LEMANS326 HO V84-Speed Manual TransmissionORIGINAL MATCHINGSOLID MIDWEST CARRUNS/DRIVESClean TITLE in Hand

Must see deal. Running driving 1966 Pontiac Lemans (Easy) GTO Clone. Strong running original 326 HO engine with a good operating original 4-speed manual combo. Lots of upgrading through the years and starts on a crank. Solid original Midwestcar. Solid Chassis, Solid Trunk, Nice. Some surface rust here and there but an easy save. Runs strong, shifts good, great clutch, great brakes, Power steering.
Front leather seats are brand new original replacement leathers, rear is original in great shape. Also brand new original black 80/20 loop carpeting.
While this car is a great survivor, it can use restoration as you drive. I've had it out for very local driving just to assess condition so its not a daily HWY driver, but can be with little effort. See undercarriage pix. Its a good looker, but could use a new paint job and some body work.. has dings and some waves along the body from previous repairs.
Interior could use further work andrestoration, Front exhaust pipes are not connected, windshield has cracks (rest of glass is good), missing both hood arms, and various other TLC and restoration that could be completed over a couple of weekends. Tires are dry but do hold air. Pretty much an all original 66 Pontiac in very good condition for its age.
Please feel free to ask me any questions directly at 347.403.3399. I do have the car listed for local sale as well so I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally.
