Description of 1941 Pontiac Other

Solid body Pontiac. solid floors. trunk. Great running inline 250 cu in Chevy 6 cylinder with Offenhauser intake. Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. Good 20 pound oil pressure. Does not burn oil. Alternator - 12 volt system. Headers. split 6 exhaust {very unique sound when on the gas} newer dual exhaust and mufflers. Head lights and tail lights work; brake lights need attention; turn signals work. nbsp;vacuum powered wipers work. There is no heater. Tires are good. No speedo. After market gauges. temp and oil pressure. Original gauges not changed from 6 volt. 1955 Chev rear end. Brakes work good. Car wanders a bit when driving;steering box has wear. A good steering box is included. Some one did a tacky wood grain paint job on dash. looks interesting. Seats are fair shape. door panels as well. headliner also carpets are decent. All glass is good; quarter windows do not lock. Slight bubbling on right front fender near door. very minor. Grille has some rusting on it. as does the trunk handle. Remember it is 74 years old. A real blast to drive. Runs great on the hiway; drive anywhere. Guaranteed you'll have the only one like it in town. Please ask any and all questions before bidding.
