Description of 1967 Pontiac Firebird

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD AND A DONOR SHELL AND A SUB FRAME FROM ANOTHER 1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD. The donor shell is for parts and is sold with a Bill of Sale. THIS IS A COMPLETE AND NUMBERS MATCHING BARN FIND PROJECT. IT SHOULD BE TRAILORED. I've owned this car for almost a year and a half. I never got around to restoring it as I already have two other projects that aren't complete. That and I have a baby on the way. The couple that I bought the car from had bought it from the original owner(s). The couple that I bought it from had the engine professionally overhauled. It fires up cold and runs strong. You don't see very many first gen Camaros and Firebirds with the original 4 speed. It even has the rare wood steering wheel. Tires are newer with all tread. I was told that the brakes. clutch and exhaust were all gone through as well. I'll even throw in a new indoor/outdoor car cover made specifically for the car and a set of polyurethane sub frame bushings. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! I can take more pictures too. On Mar-10-15 at 21:20:40 PDT. seller added the following information:3/10 - I received a couple of messages (understandably) asking about rust. Yes the Firebird has cancer in the common first gen areas. Both lower quarters need replaced but the structural trunk drop offs behind are solid on both sides. Both wheel wells will need some patching. The deck lid filler above the package tray is shot thanks to the vinyl top however the donor shell has a solid one. The roof itself will need patching/filling here and there mostly along the drip rails. The firewall is solid. The trunk itself is pretty solid with mostly surface rust. The cab floor boards are pretty solid minus the front driver's side. Last but not least the sub frame is shot at the mounts but the donor sub frame is solid with only surface rust and straight. You need to swap them out before you can actually drive the car out on the streets but it'll climb a trailer just fine. The actual mounts that the sub frame bolts to on the body are all solid. I'd replace the radiator core support thanks to battery acid. All suspension front and rear specifically the mounts are all solid. This car is about 95% straight original sheet metal. Hope this helps!
