Description of 1967 Pontiac Firebird

1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible Restomod Project Car.

The body panels (never picked the cheaper option) and rear DSE tubs were professionally replaced using original style factory spot welds by C Hopkins/AMD in Georgia. (see pictures). There are no lap welds any where. The front fenders, doors, inner fender wells and some misc., parts were metal finished and epoxy primed by Classic Restoration,Colorado. NO BONDO. Hood is original metal but not from this car and is excellent condition with only a few tiny defects. Does not look like it has ever been worked on. Slight surface rust on new rear quarter panels just from sitting in my garage for while without epoxy primer. I was able rub off a patch of the rust with steel wool. Parts include PHS report, Detroit Speed Front clip Morrison triangulated 4 bar rear suspension with 9” Ford reinforced housing and Strange coil over shocks. Front and rear suspension installed by CHopkins/AMD in Georgia. USA deck lid, IDidit steering column, new hood and rebuilt original door hinges, new Morrison rear axles, temporary wheels and tires, newbolt, shim & screw kit, cruise control kit for the steering column.

Also included is most of the original trim, window regulators, head lamps & housing, tail lights & housing, window glass, not the windsheild, front and rear bumper. These parts are used and would need to be refurbished.

Please note there is no engine or drivetrain.

I have many more pictures of the original car, progress pictures from the panel replacements and more.

Reason for selling is just can't get around to finishing it. I will miss it.
