Description of 1965 Pontiac GTO

NO RESERVE! 39,800 Orig. milesI recently purchased this GTO from the original owner's Daughter -Owner passed and daughter needed to sell. Her dad had kept it in a garage since it was new. He kept the original window sticker, sales receipts, repair receipts,warranty booklet, owners manuals and Original Title (amazingly)all from 1965. She told me how her dad would wax it every week;I can believe it because in trunk were boxes full of cleaning/wax bottles from 60's/70's. He has passed and the car has sat in the garage for a long time- I am not a mechanic and I do not want to attempt to start this GTO (This is a non-running vehicle). I had an expert look at the paint and it appears to be original paint- there is no over-spray or any thing indicating it was ever in a accident.
I purchased P.H.S. document and confirmed the engine is the true original engine (Warranty Booklet with Protecto Plate) also confirmed. The Tri-power set up is not original but was added.
Exterior: This GTO color is BlueMist Slate Poly and looks fantastic. Body is straight with no rust anywhere (some chips but nothing very noticeable).The chrome bumpers have no dents and all trim pieces are like new. All glass including windshield are original and have no chips or scratches. The vinyl top is the original from factory and looks like new and all lights work. Tires are very old so they hold air with lots of tread but should be changed if driven on road.This GTO retains all of its original headlights (T3s) and all chrome is like new. All doors and trunks open and close with ease.
Interior: Interior is original andlike new! The seats and door panels have no tears or burn marks and the ash tray looks as if no one ever smoked inside this GTO. Dash is optionally padded which has no cracks or blemishes. Headliner like the rest of interior is like new. The Factory Optional Wood Steering wheel is perfect. The original optional front floor mats are in great shape. Gauges light up and are clear with an optional GTO Rally pack.
Engine: I was able to read numbers off Engine block and can confirm that the Protecto Plate's numbers match (found in Warranty booklet). I have not attempted to try and start the engines, as I am not a mechanic and do not want to do any damage. I was told that the original owner would routinely start the car and let it run periodically (he passed away in 2016). License Plates on the car are the original from 1965. The muffler looks great, car rolls fine.
If you are looking for an original GTO please consider this one. Car comes with a car cover, original keys, receipts, PHS document, all original paperwork(priceless), and yes, a box full of original waxes and cleaners from the 1960's/70's.I am open to an offer (not looking for top dollar) and would end the auction early - I would be happy to show the GTO, but please, all inspections must be done prior to end of auction-NO EXCEPTIONS!
